Anna Jeanine Kim
Anna is a writer, journalist and National Geographic Explorer. Her current work focuses on water, wetlands, and nature's regenerative abilities.
In the past, she worked as a breaking news reporter at the Chicago Tribune’s metro desk, a suburban staff writer at the Pioneer Press, and a public safety reporter at the Columbia Missourian. In 2017, her reporting on Missouri's backlog of sexual assault evidence prompted a statewide audit and legislative reform.
Anna has received awards from Investigative Reporters & Editors, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Illinois Press Association, the Missouri Press Association and others.
